Ambassadors

The Saints Foundation is proud to have the support of key public figures who actively champion the work of the Charity and contribute to its ongoing success. The first Saints Foundation Ambassadors are:-

Nicola Cortese

Southampton FC Chairman Nicola Cortese was the first to pledge his support and explained, “I fully understand the importance of the roll the Club plays in the local community. Having been involved with many of the Saints Foundation projects and experiencing first hand the valuable work they do, I feel the impact locally is clearly visible. My motivation to support the Charity stems from a desire to help the less fortunate through an infrastructure that creates opportunities and a support network that inspires both young and old. I look forward to achieving the fund raising target and making a difference together.”

There is no better illustration of the Chairman’s commitment to the Charity than his decision to donate the home shirt the Saints Foundation to display the charity’s logo for five home fixtures during the 2010/11 season.
