The Saints Foundation has teamed up with KenyanAdventure to offer supporters an opportunity of a lifetime.
We are looking for 25 participants to travel to Kenya in November 2011, to spend 10 days working with community projects in a developing area of south-west Kenya.
You will have the chance to spend time working with community projects ranging from teaching in schools and working with underprivileged children, to football and multi-sports coaching. There is also an adventure day, with visits to the equator and a Kenyan safari park, included midway through this unique travel opportunity.
In addition to gaining an experience of a lifetime and supporting the development of young people in Kenya, participants will also be raising funds for the Saints Foundation's disability programme in the local Southampton region.
Saints Foundation Ambassador Nicola Cortese is supporting the project, "I would encourage fans to take up this wonderful opportunity and really make a difference in a fantastic part of the world, as well as supporting our local disability programme."
By taking 25 participants to Kenya, the Saints Foundation aims to raise £20,000 towards sustaining the successful Saints disability programme which offers vulnerable adults and young people the opportunity to play and enjoy football, creating a level playing field for all. The trip also supports the 2011 KenyanAdventure Community Development Pledge.
