The fund raising ambitions of the Saints Foundation are being embraced by our hospitality guests. At a recent game Gordon Browning, a lifelong Saints fan made a generous donation to the Foundation.
Gordon, who was attending the 1885 club, heard a pre-match appeal by the Foundation’s Fundraising Officer Adi Butterworth and Dan Mew from Kenyan Adventures, explaining the work the charity are involved in. The Foundation has teamed up with the adventure partner to raise funds for local disabled children in the city through the Foundations disability programme.
Gordon (pictured with Saints Captain Dean Hammond and Dan Mew from Kenyan Adventures) explained, “I am keen to support the tremendous work the charity is doing with young children in the local community. I have been a life long fan, been to Kenya several times and am happy to help support the Foundation.”
The donation will contribute towards the fund raising targets of £1million to support disadvantaged young people and vulnerable adults both locally and abroad.
