The Saints Pub in Redbridge Southampton was the first pub supplied by Molson Coors (UK & Ireland) to sign up as a Charity Partner of the Saints Foundation and have raised a whopping £2500 for the Foundation since the partnership began. Molson Coors are the official pouring rights partner for Southampton Football Club and launched an official Saints Ale exclusively to its licensees with 10p per pint sold being donated by these licensees to the Saints Foundation.
The Saints pub has embraced the opportunity have supported the Saints Foundation with a number of fundraising events and Pub Licensee Eugene McManus explained, “We’ve raised funds for a number of charities over the years and really pleased to be working with the Foundation. A large percentage of our customers are avid Saints fans and we operate a Match Day Breakfast Club for home games which includes park and ride and Breakfast with a Pint of Saints Ale!”
Licensees Eugene & Dana were guests of the Foundation at a recent home game and are pictured pitchside presenting the Charity with a cheque for £2500 on the night. The donation directly support the Saints Foundations committed to make a difference to disadvantaged young people and vulnerable adults and will support the successful Saints 4 Sport programme in the city.
